CONGRATULATIONS 8th grade!
You're about to take on HIGH SCHOOL!
Going to high school is exciting but can be scary too. Thinking of that, we have prepared to our students a very pleasant and informative morning.
On Friday 14th, our 8th grade students participated in our First HIGH SCHOOL SURVIVAL SKILLS EVENT. The event has the purpose of working with our students on some important skills and abilities used in High School and consequently their lives.
They also had a chance to interact with a high school teacher and some of our great students, asking questions and exchanging experiences.
Subjects like high school expectations, skills, abilities, goals, and GPA were very well discussed in groups lead by Mrs. Fonseca, the Student Council, and presented by Mr. Maffia.
Besides the instructional part, our students also had fun moments with games, a video about high school life produced by our Student Council, a final ceremony to give an informative package, and a key chain, all wrapped up in a picnic lunch at the end to close our event.

Our best to our 8th grade students!
